Choosing a CASA-M or mobile App

Introduction CASA-M logo

The CASA-M family is represented by CASA-M itself on desktop machines and a family of mobile Apps for the Apple iPhone/iPod touch/iPad. They are all intended to be complementary to each other, but not all users will need every one. The selection guide below gives a summary of how they compare.

Please note that this guide does not include CASA-IV.

Desktop vs. Mobile
CompatibilityDesktopMobile
Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8
Intel Apple Mac OS X 10.6 upwards
Netbook, laptop, workstation
Apple iOS 6 upwards
iPhone, iPod touch, iPad

Each mobile App presents its full set of features on all three Apple devices. They are specially designed to be practically useful on the iPhone and iPod touch screens. With the exception of CASA-Beam they are Universal Apps and will adapt to the larger native size of the iPad’s screen.

New purchases and the latest updates for mobile apps require iOS 6 or higher. Models can be transferred between different Apps (except Intuition) and to/from the desktop CASA-M (subject to each App’s supported features).

Edition comparison
